My gift to Whiskey Media... ideas for future websites.

• Food and beverage - Giant Bomb has been slacking in this department as they try to focus on video games of all things so maybe Whiskey Media can cut Giant Bomb some slack with a website dedicated to edible eats. Wiki pages can be categorized by taste, texture, smell, and more! Forums dedicated to food (the staff Photoshop thread will be in the video game forum) and reviews of the latest in restaurant cuisine. And I can name one candidate suitable for the job. And if that doesn't convince you, hot dog toaster reviews.
• Music - Like Pitchfork but not up its own ass. Get a group of music enthusiasts together (like this guy) and get those reviews and podcasts going! I'd love to see what content we can add to the Auto-Tune wiki page.
• Politics - Yeah, maybe you can bring that back and I can spread my form of political extremism throughout the interwebs.
• Weather - Get yourself one of them Doppler radar things, have a guy on stand-by in Florida during the hurricane season, and just fucking fake it.
• Wikis - A website dedicated to wikis. All you need is a catchy name. Metawiki.com is unfortunately taken.
• Amish culture - I've always hoped Whiskey Media would start a site for those who love the Amish way of life, but the Amish (and people in general) find the internet to be a wicked, wicked place so traffic would be really low. Then again, there is a huge fanbase of butter churners out there.
• Terrorism - We can call it Giant Bomb... er, wait a sec.
• Aglets - You know, the plastic on the ends of shoelaces. Think of the possibilities!
• Whiskey Media users - Perhaps more meta than the wiki wiki site.

a food site and a music site are what im hoping for. dnt know if a politics site would work so well but you never know. 

The terrorist line made me laugh. I'd like to see a music/political site, the latter of which would be a great place to dump all of these political threads.

Politics on the internet never works out well. But I am all for the Amish branch of Whiskey Media, but the wiki would have to be etched in stone somewhere because of the evils of teh interwebz.

Hm...I guess they could have one site devoted to toys. You know, an extensive Transformers wiki where I can see the different versions of Optimus Prime.

I still miss when the bombcast used to do drinks reviews at the beginning of each podcast. that was my favorite part of the show :(

I'd just like pan-Whiskey user identities, so when we register for one, we register for all, and keep the wiki points we earn across the sites.

Music? No. It's hard to be a music site and not be up its own ass Pitchfork-style.

Food and beverage? Nice, though there's a lot websites about that.

Politics? Now we're talking! I'd really like to see something HUGELY community based, in the style of The Daily Show. With a big nudge, about the whole world, based mostly on user content.

On a serious note though, I think one for toys and figurines is a good idea.

Whiskey Media already had a political site.  It was called Political Base.  It closed down last year.  A shame, because it was an awesome site.

I need me a wiki site for all the whiskey media members. Preferably where we are all able to edit each other's profiles. Imagine the awesome that could ensue!
