I used to smoke. I tried weening myself off of cigarettes slowly many times but it never worked. One day I was smoking a cigarette and, like other have mentioned, my lungs and throat were burning and the taste was disgusting all of a sudden. It was that moment when I asked myself, What the hell am I doing this for? I never smoked another cigarette again after that.
You really need to make the decision for yourself, to yourself. I think it takes that kind of mindset to quit. You just really NEED to WANT to, for yourself, not anyone else.
