Other Than A Gamer...

We're all gamers here, that's for sure. However, other than a gamer, what else are you? As for myself, I'm a web geek (fluent in HTML, CSS, and a bit of PHP), a gaming site owner and editor, a basketball and football player, a lyricist (don't worry, I don't rap about shooting people), a student, and a moderate body builder (meaning I work out to get cut, not big, those ginormous guys are just freaky).

I'm also an avid TV watcher. Right now, my favorite show other than Heroes and Reaper would have to be Tyler Perry's House of Payne. Gotta love it.

I'm a gamer but for the past few weeks I've been stalking this loony tune who appears to be a moderate body builder slash educated athlete with completely horrible taste in TV and no musical talent.

 I guess I'm a regular kind of person, I sing in a band, we're called "More Cowbell".

Sing/song write, I like to be outside. And I build PC's, repair them, do networking ect for a living.

Since when was it socially acceptable to do other things when you're a gamer?! This is madness.

I'm an active-duty Coast Guardsman, an amateur fiction writer, an aspiring chef, and a wannabe guitarist. And a caring, passionate lover.

I don't call myself a gamer; I call myself an enthusiast- which is way more pretentious and much less bro-y sounding.

Anyway, I make sculptures out of sea-shells, collect shoe-shining polish, make music, run a duck farm, fill water balloons with milk and sit on them, run around town wearing nothing but a bear mask and socks, and I run a Doorknob club.

Only one of these things is true.

Currently a convict that was just released from prison and serving my last two months in home confinement. Not allowed to interact with dogs anymore, but fuck that, whatever! I'm moving onto cats anyhow!

I'm a pseudo-intellectual asshole. I'm a customer support and database manager, currently. I'm also an airsoft player and amateur modder. I'm a politically aware teenager, which is apparently a rarity, and I'm also someone who likes alcohol for the taste rather than for the after-effects. Word.

I'm an alcoholic. Well, not an alcoholic, but I do spend a lot of my time in the pub.

I'm a gamer, obv.

But also a game developer, recluse, artist, programmer, game development student. PnP RPG'er, collector (I go for lots of stuff instead of rare expensive stuff, although I have my share of rarities I mostly buy stuff that actually has a use, so im more likely to go for 2 or 3 games I want instead of a rare beta cart or something. Although I have a soft spot for beta Resi stuff) film buff, website administrator at a game website I own (more or less dead while im at uni though) and amateur console modder. Other than that, i'm a complete and utter bastard :P

I'm an employee

Video Editor, Motion Graphic Artist, Skateboarder, Movie Enthusiast (Hollywood to Indie to Foreign), Music Aficionado (Rock to Punk to Death Metal and things in between and on the outside) and inspiring Film Maker.

I'm what some may call a Hip-Hop Head, I started to work out a decent amount a year ago (3-4 times a week) but seeing as it was to lose weight I guess I don't classify as a body builder, and I'm a huge fan of a few shows (House M.D., Fringe, 30 Rock, and more recently Southland).

My general things I geek over are games (including board, tabletop roleplay and of course digital,) comics, music and audio drama. I play guitar in a band (you can check us out when "we" were still just "I") and I actually write quite a bit.

In addition to a gamer, I consider myself to be:

• A writer - currently working on a fantasy novel with the intention of ultimately approaching publishers.
• A player of drums and lyricist - I play drums and write lyrics for a band called Self Diagnosis.
• A cricketer and darts player - pretty self-explanatory, I think. I play for Aldbury Entertainers Cricket Club and The Anchor of Tring respectively.
  
• A student - currently in my first year of Uni, studying English Language & Literature at the University of Essex.

Aside from a gamer,

• I'm a husband. I love my wife so goddamn much.
• I'm a cop. I joined when I was 20 (I'm now 30). I wouldn't recommend it to many people. The job has a tendency to corrode you. Laughing and joking 10 feet away from a dead body is not normal.
  
• I'm a weightlifter. I love working out.
  
• I'm a fantasy literature enthusiast.
• I'm a dog owner. I don't intend to ever have children (a decision my wife and I made together), but I do intend be a dog owner for the rest of my life. Maybe cats too.
  
• I'm an aspiring writer. I feel the shit ton of experiences I've been through could translate to some very good gritty fantasy ideas.
  
• I'm a geek. A mean looking bald dude that can bench over 400lbs, but a geek through and through. 
  

I enjoy creating music, mostly electronic stuff, play guitar also. Like writing and directing/editing film in my spare time too.

i bowl, and i like tv a lot, my favorite show is supernatural (and if any of you have heard of it im sure you all hate it like everyone else i know), but bowling is the one thing i do, i spend most of my time after school doing it
