There is no way you can beat someone who spends 8 friggin hours a day playing that game. I gave that up with SC 1 and won't even try with SC 2. Got better things to do with my time ^^
Try watching Day9 on youtube, he has some super helpful videos that will really help you vastly improve your game without the need for being a crazy person.
Your win/loss ratio is just under 50% and you're playing random. I wouldn't say your terrible. Blizzard said if the matchmaking system is working right you should be at 50%. Random's a hard road to travel.
I couldn't beat the AI in SC1 on the easiest difficulty level...not played SC2. I don't know why I suck at SC so much, I was pretty good at the C&C games, at least up until RA2/Generals.
I suck too. I was enjoying the single player game on hard and started playing multi-player...I lost all except one of my placement matches. The matches that I played after, I also lost...and gave up. I'm too stressed in my personal life to play a game I'm going to lose..:(
