You will never meet nearly 100% of them for real, so why worry about it?  Do not use photo's of yourself as avatars in public locations online if you do not want the obvious attention.

No.  I have been online for some 15 years or more, I no longer remember.  This is reality and no amount of being upset will change things.

Sometimes things will work against you and the only way to deal with it is to let it go.  When people online see your picture many will, like many of us, see you as another person.  But amongst the group will be many people who still find a girl to be something so rare and unusual that they will apply massive focus on that fact.

Do not want stalkers?  Accept the unpleasant truth.  Do not show them what you look like to begin with.  This is reality.
