Things you do when boredom strikes in class/during a lecture.

I usually keep listening, because my future depends on how well I do in school. I'd rather not be working at Mc.Donald's or doing physical labor.

I use either my computer, or more recently, my Droid and surf the net for a bit.

I just space out, and think about other stuff. The only thing that brings me out of it is the teacher calling on me, or me think that they called on me, then realizing that I spaced out.

Think of things I'm going to do after the lecture.

I usually just zone out. Sometimes I doodle on my notebook or just write down the random thoughts in my head. It makes for an interesting notebook page when I'm finished and can't remember why some things are there.

Do barrel rolls usually. j/k... but not really. I just daydream or think of some lame freestyle in my head. 

Daydream usually or sleep for a minute or two. 

During the course of a year, I did over 100 sudoku in my accounting lectures.

About the same as everyone else: Zone out and doodle on my page.

I usually try my best to listen. Most of the time when I am bored, I usually tap on something and/or look down.

Lots of doodling, I also can spin my pencil around my fingers with all sort of crazy spins.

I start hearing 90s hip-hop in my head ...mainly the humpty dance

I usually ask a question, it helps to keep awake. Otherwise I doze off

I try to keep listening but if I really can't concentrate then my mind sometimes wanders and I just think about whatever, usually video games.

I just put on my earbuds and start listening to some music.

Fall asleep. Sometimes think about naked ladies.

I used to doodle in my notes - make caricatures of my teachers/professors.  
Now I teach high school, so . . . I guess I just keep on lecturing :)  Kick a few desks to wake up other sleepyheads.

I don't mean to but sometimes I just can't focus and start daydreaming.
When I have my friends in the lesson though I just talk to them and make jokes about the stuff I'm learning so that I can remember it better.

I make weird eye contact with my classmates or surf the web on my phone. There's only one class I take where there are computers in front of us, that's when I go on YouTube and look at montages or play First Person Tetris. Now that I have been accepted as a Game Design student at a "Høyskole" (tertiary education institution in Norway) that does not require anything more than the completion of the secondary education (in other words, I only need to pass and attend classes for a couple more months), I really do not pay attention anymore.

I tend to fold paper cranes and lilies.

I start to doodle, then realize what i'm doing and stop.
 
I can't afford to zone out =/

I'm a middle school teacher, so I guess I continue to teach during boring lectures since I'm the one giving them.

Doodle, make a paper-doll zombie, daydream.
 (Pro tip: Build up a horde of paper zombie for moments of extreme group boredom.)

Me and a friend usually have text message rap battles during classes, It's pretty entertaining.

In a class I will participate actively and try to steer the conversation towards controversial topics. It usually works. Many teachers are money grubbing slouches, and rarely get a chance to prove their mental prowess. They will jump if given the opportunity.  

I pretend to play piano on my table.

sleep or look at some chick's awesome rockin' cleavage...........until she looks up and almost spots me staring. that's what i did when i was going to college 7 years ago for a degree in atmospheric science.

That's basically it.

Draw, draw, and draw some more. Through all of my education drawing has been my weapon of choice against the greatest foe... boredom.

Doesn't usually happen; but when it does, I daydream.
