Its absolutely fucking amazing. Dat Tennessee.
Yea, you need a solid paragraph, talking about the website. Or life of strange clown crimes in your city. Something.
So...many...Eagles and... American flags waving in electronic breeze! I have to sit down because all pure-uncut AMerica is making me woozy.
Is this viral marketing for a 90's cop show, like The Office but for cops? Because this surely can't be real...can it?
I'd be more concerned with their hiring of David Duke"s".....as a Major, none the less. That additional "s" isn't fooling anyone, Duke.
You should probably have some words to go along with that link...
That being said that not terrible, it's fucking amazing. I wish my PD website looked like it was made in 1997 and played Massive Attack.
HELL YEAH, that is fucking amazing!
Did a giraffe love a zebra? What animal is that avatar?..
It's a zebra with a rare birth defect which causes light-colored stripes. They generally only survive in captivity, as the defect isn't conducive to life in the wild.
Here's another picture of it:

Well now I learned something, thanks! They would probably make a good plush..
@theabidingdude: This is the greatest website I have ever seen. Or at least the most entertaining of my night... which might not be ideal for a police department.
That is so amazing.
I contemplated doing something similar for my personal website, just as a joke. But then I figured if I am going to be having that as a thing on my resume that might not be the best plan. I still might do it.
Also, that site shot the load amount across the 8 threads of my i7 up to around 25% overall from 2%. That is an impressive amount of resources needed.
Well, I am leery of the police in the main. But I have mostly met run of the mill to some actually decent ones in my life. One time they did tear up my glove compartment and aimed guns at me because they thought I was the bad guy they were looking for.
A site like that interests me to how in-group, as a tribe so to speak, these police perceive themselves. A lot of dark dramatic tension and stuff. I actually like the music before it develops too far.
Perhaps they see themselves unknowingly like Space Marines.
@razielcuts: Apparently it is real. The official Cookeville, Tennessee website links to the one that OP posted: http://www.cookeville-tn.org/police/
Just remember to update your bookmarks. I certainly have.
@jayeh: The fire on the sides of the pictures is my favorite part.
The white wave that flies over the text was pretty good.....
AND THEN IT REVERSES AND GOES BACK THE OTHER WAY! GENIUS!!
