Wanted to share some news with my fellow duders

For the last few years I have been having some health issues involving my heart. Today after three years of hard work I had my last stress test. It is my last stress test because not only did I pass with no abnormalities, my blood pressure is now considered normal.

Just wanted to share this with the only internet community I genuinely care about.

I thought you was going to say it's my last stress test because of tragic reasons.

Nice! Do you mind sharing with us what you did to get your stats to a normal healthy level? Drugs? Exercise? No drugs? Eating? Gaming?

Great news duder. Sounds like all your hard work has paid off. Kudos.

@thehbk: I started by cutting out all fast food. Then I moved on to cutting out bacon and other high sodium cured meats (as painful as it was). After that it was finding as many healthy meals as I could and learning how to cook them. Once I got the OK from the Doc I was able to start exercising.

The hardest part of the whole situation was living on a day to day without giving in to the constant deluge of fast food advertising. But after a while I started to be OK with going hungry for an extra hour or two and wait until I got home to cook a proper meal. It has been a long road but I could not be happier.

Also I was able to stay off the various drugs my Doc tried to prescribe me by promising that I was going to lose more and more weight each time I saw him. It worked.

High five.
