Between RTJ2 and IDYLLS, I have been digging the heck out of that recent Maltine release Crayola Sunrise, Tomggg's unfathomably cheerful remix of Porter Robinson's Flicker, BEAM!, everything from Cannibal Ox's The Cold Vein, ...Like Clockwork and of course I can't forget... you know.
What are you listening to duders?
- Stir it up by Bob Marley -
Going through the some of my favourite albums of all time these days:
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Holy shit, this album is so good and Mike Patton is such a diverse and spectacular vocalist.
and also Death - Symbolic, because I'll be damned if this isn't the quintessential death metal album, to me anyway.

I've been on a huge FNM kick lately. How do you rate Motherfucker?
Been listening to a lot of Panic! At The Disco, especially their recent Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die album, which is fantastic.
I am listening to my ears ringing a day after seeing Opeth and In Flames in Chicago.
Mr review of the evening:
Opening band Red Fang took way too long to get on stage and ended up making Opeth have to do a short set so I basically wish them all kinds of ill will. They didnt suck I guess.
In Flames was full of energy. The crowd was way into it. Say what you want about In Flames but there are way worse bands around and at the least you know they will give you a show. Perfect set, they didnt play like it was the first show of the tour and Anders voice sounded rested. Anders made fun of people on phones a few times and ended up bringing a girl up on stage so she could film and also get to see the show for herself at the same time.
Opeth had guitar tech issues. Nothing major just an annoyance between songs. They played a mix of old and new stuff and they did a medley of what I think was fan suggestions from twitter. Great show as you would expect, but cut way too short. Almost felt like a half set. Mikael spent a surprising amount of time talking about the bands Chicago, Kansas, and Man-o-war.
Also I nearly caved in the skull of a 5 foot troll when his old cow girlfriend when beyond the accepted "touching zone".
I also made this Outrun playlist guys. I hope you check it out and like it! Great driving music.
This song should annoy the fuck out of me on multiple levels, but I love it for some reason:
I have no idea what to make of CocoRosie... I think I like them, but I feel like I should hate them. Their weirdness feels extremely forced, but... bah, fuck it. My ears enjoy their output.
So there is this incredible jazz-punk-hiphop-traditional Japanese fusion band called Zazen Boys. They've been around for about ten years. Saw them in Hoboken NJ with only like a dozen other people in the room, and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to.
They used to put live bootlegs on their website all the time back around 2006, but for some reason stopped. Until this month. You can download their entire almost 2 hour set here for free. You gotta download song by song, not in one big file, and it's a slightly more raw recording than other bootlegs they put up; but it's totally worth it. One of the best live bands around today.
If anything, listen to this live version of Si・Ge・Ki
@dietmango: Skyharbor is great. I'd recommend Ne Obliviscaris to the OP, too, if he's still looking for new metal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btXrf3YEyf0
