Irish, Italian.
What is your ethnic background?
I've always wanted to look back into my family history, never gotten round to it.
As far as I know I'm 100% white British/more accurately English (of course obviously that's actually not going to be accurate at all - I'm just entirely unaware of anyone in my direct line who wasn't English going back a few generations). My surname derives from an area of the UK about 20 miles from where I was born (and live to this day...). Apparently at least some aspects of my family tree were not well travelled.
Spanish and some sort of Costa Rican native american, either Bribri, Cabecar and Boruca, since they all live in Talamanca next to where my hometown is and tend to come into the town every once in a while.
Dad's side: Polish, Lithuanian, Russian, English, Welsh, French, maybe a little bit of Irish thrown in there somewhere.
My grandma's ancestors came over probably in the mid 1800s and part of the family ended up in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of PA, the rest primarily in the Detroit area.
Grandpa's side was here as early as the late 1600s in the Northeast and Virginia, I think the French part of the family was in French Canada at the time possibly. Grandpa was in the Airborne during WWII, he was in the Bastogne area (Band of Brothers type stuff). He was in either the 101st or 82nd Airborne at the time, I'm not sure which, I can't remember atm.
Mom's side: English, Welsh, and German.
Grandma's family was related to the first Kaiser Wilhelm apparently, and moved to US after being disowned for marrying a commoner as far as I've been told. They ended up in Nebraska until my grandma came to CA after graduating high school in the 1940s and worked on making bombers during the war. Pretty much all the men in the family ended up working for Union Pacific at some point.
Grandpa's side was here in CA since around the time of the Gold Rush, and mostly still is up in the Sacramento area. They gave part of their land to the state and it's part of the National/State Park or whatever near Sutter's Fort. Only my grandpa and his brother moved out of NorCal, my grandpa came here after his time in the Navy and Merchant Marine.
mostly danish, there are some german, dutch and french in me but thats way out in the great grand something. and its still mixed in with danish

im 100% America
really, your 100% of a nation made up of essentailly anyone wanting tp flee the rest of the world over 300 years or so. saying you are 100% american means nothing i am afraid. not much different for me, i am 100% british, which means i most likly have some saxon/french/celtic/roman genes in me.
White?
I have no fucking idea. My dad was adopted and his adoption records were lost somewhere along the way, so his side is a bust. My mom is Ukrainian and Scottish, and I think I've heard my grandmother say there is some German in there somewhere? I've never really cared enough to investigate at all.
My great grandfather on my dads side was a king from Scotland but he got kicked out for something stupid i'm sure.
My great grandfather on my dads side died in a card game when he got the wining hand. he also thought his doughtier was genitally his, she wasn't.
my grandfather on my moms side was the Director of the Bureau of Land Management. he now owns a stock trading corporation.
My grandmother my moms side came from Norway when she was a kid.
