Brave, was alright, not great.
What was the last film you watched in theaters?
I have watched 88 movies this year, none of them in a theater. I enjoy movies more at home. The last one was The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader early last year. Damn that was boring.
@cannonballBAM: This summer I saw Expendables 2, Dark Knight Rises, Bourne Legacy, and Spider-man... Out of that list, Spider-Man is my only recommendation :(... the other three pretty much blew.... expendables had its funny moments I guess (especially Crews and his razor blade... lol)
The Goonies. Guy behind me quoted every single line (even the fuckin Cyndi Lauper song!). Otherwise, great movie, in case you haven't noticed. What's Data doing these days, anyway?
last film i saw was Senna
i love the cinema. i love the big screen, the sound and i even love 3D if it done right.
but i don't go because i just can't stand to sit though a movie with the sound of people eating and talking around me.
why people go the the cinema to talk or eat is beyond me, can you really not go 2 hours without stuffing food in that whole in your face
Because, silly billy. Nothing is ever good anymore. Every new thing is eviscerated by the insane fanboys.@Grimace said:
The Dark Knight Rises: the movie that everyone hates now.
Not me, I enjoyed it.
Everyone hates The Dark Knight Rises? Why?
The Dark Knight Rises. For the second time, I should add. And that was last week. First time was on opening day. Gave it some time to sink in before re-watching.
I almost went to see Lawless today, but then I didn't. Probably next week.
Went to see Ted.
Funny movie. Nothing spectacular, but I was pleased.
I rarely leave satisfied when going to see a movie in theaters, so I tend not to go see too many. The last two movies I saw in theaters that actually wowed me were Scott Pilgrim and the Watchmen. Two movies I didn't have very high hopes for when I went to go see them. Ended up being two of my favorite movies.
TDKR. I mostly only go to the movies on Tuesday's because I can go for free or for $7. Yes, I'm cheap. I wanted to see spiderman but the stupid chick that worked at the theatre didn't give me tickets because she needed my sisters ID because I was using her card that lets me go for free. That theatre sucks anyways so whatever. I got 2 free movie tickets from my school but there's no movies out and I have no one to go with. I'm lonely.
The Expendables 2. Fun movie to watch. Less serious this time around, enjoyed the interaction between characters much more compared to the first one.
The Dark Knight Rises. I regret it. The Doctor Who season premier I saw before going to the theatre was better.
I've actually seen more movies in the last few months than I have in years. Hunger Games was first, then Avengers, 3 times, then Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Prometheus, Spider-man, Dark Knight, and Total Recall. Enjoyed almost all of them, except for Vampire Hunter, but hey, I didn't pay to go see it, so whatever...
The Dark Knight Rises.
Oddly enough i am a huge film fanatic who buys a ridiculous amount of DVD/Blu-Rays but i rarely go to the theater. In the past 10 years i have seen a total of 4 movies in theaters (Avengers, Batman Begins, Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises) The theaters where i live are always packed with the kind of people i hate, i can never go to the theater and fully enjoy it because its always full of assholes with their phones out sending giant glowing glares at my eyeballs, talking, making un-funny remarks to the screen etc. I just find that i have a more enjoyable time in peace at my house.
The Dark Knight Rises. i only go to about 3 movies a year. Next one will probably be Django Unchained.
