dont have a car, my uncle picked me up with his lambo once, and we went to the track, he only took it up to 175-180 with me in the car, that was like five years ago though.

Around 120 MPH or so, if memory serves. I took my first car, a Dodge Neon ACR, around a racetrack that used a drag strip for the front straightaway about eight years ago.

On normal roads, only about 95 MPH on a practically deserted rural road.

Wow im kinda surprised not to many car buffs on here lol......Mine is 160 ish(i say ish because my spedo dont go that high i had to ask my buddy in the vett what he let off at)  vs a c6 vett, in my 2jzgte swapped sc300.  But that was a rare instance usually we do 60-130 pulls but everyone once and a while well stay in it for some fun.  BTW street racing is bad take it to the track, we only run on the expressway at nite to avoid other drivers.

125 in an '83 oldsmobile that had a speedometer that topped out  at 85.

Helps when you are flooring it coming down the side of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with signs warnings you to coast and break regularly.  Tiacket only cost like $80 bucks though, apparently they were used to it, as there were like 4 cops sitting near the bottom.

@RubberBabyBuggyBumpers:  I might have read your post wrong but...HA wow you crashed going 145 mph on a bike?! Thats pretty crazy man glad to see you're still alive.  I've been trying to convince myself to get one but I think I'll kill myself.

I hit 150 mph in my friend's girlfriend's rsx type-s once.  She hasn't let me "test it out" it since...

I usually go about 140-150 on the way to work. Sometimes I'll hit 160 when I'm going west through the mountains.

My personal record is a 180 km/h in a 1997 Plymouth Breeze... that is when the car's computer cuts off the engine, not that it could go a lot faster than that.

With an automatic transmission, getting from 160 km/h to 180 is really long, getting a straight road, with little to no other cars makes this really hard to do.

96 mph passing, I havent ever really pushed my car (06 civic).  106 on my bike, again not pushing for speed, but 106 felt like I was doing 65 so I am afraid to see what it will do.

147kph, unintentionally. Saab 9-5 3.0t stock, just stuck it in manual and floored it on the expressway. By the time I remembered to shift, the car was in fifth and topped out.

My first (and still favorite car) was a 1962 Tempest, that I had spent a few years restoring, so I was always terrified of wrecking it. So I never took that much above posted limits.

However, I just finished paying off my 98 Firebird, and I am excited to see what she can do.

I went up to around 85-90 MPH once. American freeways aren't as lenient as the freeways in Europe.

Around 80 on a highway once. I usually never go more than 5 mph faster than the speed limit, I like to keep life threatening actions to a minimum.
