Hell no
When you see someones icon do you assume that that is what the person looks like?

I'll associate that image with the person, but I don't actually think that's what the person looks like. But I have been known to say "she" or "her" in relation to male members that have a female anime character as their avatar. So I suppose in a way I do a little bit. And I do like the idea of people thinking I'm a giant anthropomorphic bear.
I'm a skilled Fox that can hold a knife, I took that picture in my house and posted it on the internet which then somehow got onto google images. If you type in Foxhound Logo then poof! There I am! :) I'm related to Mysterious Fox you know? We hang out at the shrine and we laaauugh!
I'm going to assume you are referring to icons which use real photographs. And, it depends on if she is cute. ;-) If it's a guy, though I usually assume it's a fake. After all, in what reality does Brad Shoemaker look like J Allard?
This could all be settled if Milkman showed us his fucking tattoos in real life. Btw I am Vault Boy though.

" I hope so! ^^ an honour to be mistaken for Dylan Moran ;P "Woah the first time i saw your avatar i thought it was the dude from Harry Potter
And no a majority of people don't have avatars of themselves or an actual person, so that would be a bit stupid of me.

Hmm....well it beats being mistaken for the dude from the Twilight movies again

I'd love it if people thought of me as a big teddy bear, honestly.
