Which Borderlands 2 character would you choose ?

Not up to speed on the classes this time around. Purposefully staying in the dark on it as I want that feeling of discovery this time around. I will go with whatever is most like the Soldier from 1.

Mechromancer/ Maya at launch as I played the other mage in BL1

I played as Brick in the first one but it doesn't look like there's anything like him in 2, which has me a little bummed. For now I have no clue who I'll play so I'm hoping they release more details on the characters before it comes out.

The one that has a sword, because who needs billions of guns when you can upgrade a skill tree and stab everything to death.
