This is one of those impossibly long battles. Wolverine wouldn't stop and the Hulk is strongest one there is.
Not to get too geek-technical, but effectively if we're talking classic Hulk (the angrier he is, the bigger and stronger he gets,) the battle would effectively go into infinity if death was the only win victory.
Everyone knows that Wolverine can heal his torn up body but I wonder if he can heal just pulverised bones. I think the Hulk would just smash his face into the ground and his bones would turn to dust.

Wolverine's healing factor scales to the writers needs. As in there are really no rules to how it works.
I'm glad to see Wolverine is winning over here, I gave up arguing about this fight on AnimeVice.
I say Logan could slice the Hulk in half, whereas whatever the Hulk does to Wolverine, he will just heal. Plus he is much faster and smarter than the Hulk.
If we are talking classic Hulk there would be no end to the fight. Everything Wolverine did to him, which lets be honest wouldn't be a whole lot, the Hulk would just get tougher and stronger. Then everytime the Hulk ripped Wolverine into two or smashed him into dust he'd regenrerate. My guess is we'd see a whole lot of Hulk killing Wolverine, who'd regenerate just to be killed again, and the process would repeat itself infinitly. I just don't think Wolverine could effectively do much to Hulk with those claws besides cut him up a bit, which isn't much considering some of the insane things Hulk has put up with.
This my friends is the eternal stalemate. Wolverine is my favorite comic book character, but I do know when the boy meets his match. Hulk is just too beastly to really get hurt by Wolverine, so he can't really die if he never gets hurt to a point that death would be a possibility. Wolverine CAN get hurt, but he always regenerates and keeps going and going. He's got that drive to him. So much like many people here, I'd think this match would go on forever.
Wut, claws in the heart would certainly kill Hulk. And save for a broken spine wolvie is pretty much unstoppable yeah? And thanks to that metal adamantium that can't break, yeah? Thus, he wins.
But yeah we don't see that stuff in such Marvel comics so it would go on endlessly. Meh.
If wolverine rips in half he fucking dies okay. If a single bullet to the head can knock wolverine out, then he aint got shit on the Hulk. Wolverine doesn't use crazy magic or anything, and he isn't Cell from DBZ. He's a human with feral sense and rapid healing. If there's no head connected to his body then his body can't operate without it. The Hulk wins. If he grows a new head that means a new brain meaning a completely braindead infant state wolverine. Hulk wins. If his heart isn't attached to his circulatory system then blood platelets aren't going to heal any fucking wounds, are they? Hulk wins.

Sorry, but Wolverine is a dumb character. You can't break his bones and he regenerates from anything, so what's even the point? The only way someone could kill him is if an evil genius made a laser gun that can cut through his metal bones, and then had a bomb that will destroy every single atom his body is composed of.

Hulks muscles should also make him unable to move his arms. But this isn't real life we are talking about.

Like his girl clone in the movie fill him with the same metal and and place him in the water and he won't die but he will not be able to do anything.

Wolverine can die. It's just that, when he dies, he has some sort of duel with a samurai dude or something in purgatory and, based on whether or not he wins, he'll come back.
That is what I have been told regarded Wolverine dying. Correct me if I have been told wrong.
Hulk also heals, just as fast if not faster than Wolverine. And he's got the added advantage of ridiculous strength. He would eventually rip Wolverine into shreds-the joints could not be incased in adamantium or else Logan wouldn't be able to move, and thus he could be ripped apart in those locations and scattered around the area. Hulk would just kill him over and over again until he loses that afterlife battle.
Jesus that sounds like a dumb excuse for someone not dying.
