You run into a burning building. You find a boy and a girl and your dog. You can only save one. Who do you save?

I'd save my dog. Why can't the boy or the girl help themselves? Unless the boy/girl has some disability that stops them from getting out of the building, I can't see a reason why they couldn't help themselves. The dog on the other hand, is fucked unless a human helps them.

And it is my dog after all, so I'm a bit biased. I care more about animals than I do most people.

The only wrong answer is the dog. I would burn bags of puppies if it would save a life of one human child.
