Your favorite cheesy music in video games or movie tie.

I got the idea for this thread from the Friday the 13th, spookin with scoops. For whatever reason that got me looking at the music video to Nightmare on elm street the dream warriors. That delightful ditty got me reminisce about a time when bands would do a song for a certain film. Now some bands would just use an existing song they may have had on layaway that sort of fits with the movie but some would actually write a song for the movie. I used cheesy as a diplomatic term because it is hard to really say these songs are bad, but they certainly are hokey. I'd be delighted to see what you guys have in the chamber. Also if there is an existing thread on this please point me to it.

The ending credit song for Double Dragon Neon is pretty rad

GWAR made a really bad movie in the 90s - Phallus in Wonderland. The singer's Cuttlefish of Cuthulu(penis) gets ripped off by the Morality Squad and GWAR wages war on them. Or something. All the songs in the movie were on their album America Must be Destroyed so they didn't make the music for the movie but they did make the movie for the music. Does that count?

Nothing will ever top the knuckles rap themes from the sonic adventure games, but this game has a special memory to me because this was the first game where the music made me cringe.

I second ghostbuster theme music hence the user name. Can't believe nobody put the hit classic from Bobby Brown. True lyrics but still pretty cheesy now.

Best part about this video besides Bobby rapping about proton packs is when Donald Trump pops out of his building and goes "Why the fuck is Bobby's projection dancing on my building."

I haven't played this game in about ten years and somehow I still remember those lyrics. Christ in heaven, that song...

@AjayRaz: That was gross but I feel like on a venn diagram of both mortal kombat deadly alliance fans and NU-METAL fans there would be a huge intersect.

Surprisingly difficult to find the full song on Youtube (you get the video edit which is like 3 minutes shorter) so enjoy this amazingly punk slide show to Weird Science. Oingo Boingo were totally punk rawks or something.
