Your Thoughts on Hulu?
I use it all the time. The qeueing mixed with autoplaying the next thing on a qeue puts it over the top. I literally leave it on my PC playing while doing other busy work and its just like a TV, scept Im only watching what I want and there are far less commercials. Decent lineup of classic TV, if it had those old Disney cartoons like Ducktales and Gargoyles as well as the WB ones like Freakazoid and Animaniacs, it would be untouchable.
My only big complaint is the expiration system, which makes no sense to me. Its kind of impossible for a person to watch newer longrunning TV shows, say Burn Notice, from the beginning. You'd would have to stream it from less than legal avenues instead.
I get to watch The Daily Show while I eat breakfast every morning... what's not to love!
It's understandable that they wouldn't (and I'm sure they're trying) but I wish they had just a few more shows as well. Though Hulu has been a helpful factor (along with Netflix) in helping to alleviate me of any of my TV necessities... I can't even tell you the last time I watched television. There really is so much garbage to sift through...
Not available in the UK.
It's awesome. It sucks that you can't download the videos straight off the sites to PMPs. I'd be fine with downloading them with embedded ads if it meant being able to watch stuff on the go.
Hulu is a fantastic and amazing idea created by aliens that want to liquify our brains and gulp them down like a sports drink. So in other words, it's great.

I just use a proxy to get past the region lock bullshit, but even that is a pain in the ass some times. It's ok but only hosting things for x weeks gets old fast. Since i'm the type of person who likes to sit down and watch something from episode 1 to end. The day they fuck off with region locking stuff will be the day i start praising it. Until then idc to be honest. Too much hassle for too little pay off.
" My region doesn't get it, and I'm in Canada, why can't they hook us up. :( "I really don't get why they don't hook us up either.. it's actually something I'd use a lot too :(
Exactly. You could circumvent it with a proxy or something, but whenever I want to watch something (which is seldom enough) I simply fire up Vuze." Region "
I love Hulu. My only complaint is that with new shows, they are constantly removing episodes. I always get suggestions that I should watch this show or that show. When I tell them I don't have TV, they tell me to go watch them on Hulu. So I get all excited, pull up Hulu and find that they have like episodes 5-9 on there, having removed the earlier ones. Which makes them all useless to a new fan. Irritating.
I hate how if I want want to catch up on a show most of the time it seems like they only have a few of the newest episodes. They don't have any of the old ones, so I have to use a torrent to get those ones anyway.
hulu is good but they need to get more shows on it. i think they need to get more major stations on there. they have the major ones like fox, abc, and such but i think they should get more of them.
they should also get more seasons on there. some shows on there have like 2 and 4 but skip 3.
