Finally, fast Volkswagens in my Forza 4.
Finally, fast Volkswagens in my Forza 4.

Apparently Turn 10 Studios have finally been able to cut a deal with EA concerning the use of Porsche cars. EA currently holds the rights to use Porsche cars in console racing games, and Turn 10 owns the rights to Ferrari cars.

This means that sometime during this Spring, Turn 10 will release a Porsche Expansion Pack for Forza Motorsport 4 which will include "30 modern and classic Porsche vehicles". The only confirmed cars thus far are the 0210 Porsche Sport Classic and the 2010 Boxster S.

There's a story up right now on Jalopnik.com

    Porsches GUYS! Porsches!!!

    Full article here: http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/porsche_expansion_announce/

It's a $20 expansion pack. New cars, 20 new events, more achievements. They went all out! Release on May 22.

7 brand new Porsches to the Forza franchise so we can speculate what will be in this by what we have seen already.

I'm not a real fan of Porsces, but 20 bucks seems like the right price for me. I would love for the 918 to be included.

That's pretty cool, I'm not a big Porsche fan, but it's nice that they'll be in there!

I love Fords and I'm still excited about this! Especially if they put stuff in there like the 935.

@mfpantst: I'm hoping for the 935 so that we can get some kind of 80s IMSA pack with a Mercury Cougar and Merkur XR4Ti (long odds, I know)

I just want the 550 back. And the full Rally di Positano, so that I may gain Sick Air™ over the jumps on its reverse layout.

I expect to be at least partially disappointed.

The pack should be out sometime later today. VIP members even get a discount!

EDIT: Apparently the pack is now available. If you are a VIP-member, make sure to buy it from the in-game store to receive a discount.
