    This game has been crack to not only myself, but every person I introduce this game to.. I think that longest I sat and played was probably close 6 hours- drunk out of my mind with 4 other people, taking turns. Needless to say, a very addictive game.

    i never really got into geometry wars. it was fun and colorful but i can only stand it when im trippin. and when im trippin nothing exciting happens because i cant figure out what to do

    Some friends and I drove to PAX the last 2 years in a row.  Edmonton to Seattle is a 14ish hour drive.  We played Geo Wars for about 8 hours straight, then when we got there and were in line we hooked up a 360 and a screen to play while we waited.

    I think the only way to stop playing is to rage quit. I start playing, reach my peak and then the pad almost goes through the window.

    Geo Wars 2 never hooked me like the first game.  Not sure why, maybe all those game modes make it hard to decide which one to focus on?  Maybe I don't like the multiplier shards?

    @Diamond: See I think it's opposite.. Once I get frustrated with one mode, I'll just be like 'fine I DIDN'T WANNA PLAY YOU ANYWAY!!!' and then go play waves or whatever.. and I'll go around the board.. it really is a vicious cycle, bc by the time I get back to the first one I was playing I kind of forget how mad I was at it

    Oh wow, Geometry Wars is like no other. I was also addicted to it a while back... err, might still be.
     
    I need more friends. Half the fun is trying to beat the next closest score on the leaderboard. Apparently must have really been in the zone at some point, because I look at my current top for Pacifism and wonder how the hell that ever happened. Never come close to matching it. =S

    I got hooked on Geometry Wars back when it was just an Easter Egg inside of Project Gotham Racing.  I loved it when it was added to XBLA and then the sequel later on.  It's still my most played arcade title.  What I love is the perfect time of the game.  I can have a fulfilling experience in just 3 minutes.  Like sex. (whooa!)
