Recently I have started watching some twitch streamers daily, and it is all entirely the fault of the WILDLY entertaining NoPIxel GTAV roleplay server and the amazing RP'ers who populate it. Some of them are spending upwards of 12 hours a day RP'ing and they are so damn good at it. I have some favorites ranging from people who are already huge streamers to smaller streamers who have found a niche on the server. It is a truly inclusive, diverse scene with RP'ers from all over the world and from many different cultures and backgrounds.

Seriously, some of the emergent story lines and lore is incredible. It's like watching National Lampoon's Breaking Bad.

Here is a run down of some of the folks I have been following:

    Character: Ai Musori (Bitch)

    No Caption Provided

    https://www.twitch.tv/saiiren

Saiiren is by far my favourite RP'er on the server, and I think one of the most talented. She plays a go-getting hard working Japanese / Chinese immigrant who wants to make it in America called Ai Musori, affectionately known to everyone else on the server as Bitch (That mightn't sound affectionate but it really is). Saiiren's parents are Japanese and Chinese, and she says her character is basically an exaggerated mix of her family, especially her grandmother. Ai's capacity to have terrible misunderstandings due to her language barriers is endlessly entertaining, and she can instantly throw any conversation into hilarious chaos. Ai was a full time employee at the burgershot but recently left to explore new opportunities and is now working at the Rooster's Rest and at the in game Casino. Saiiren is a natural comedian with rare and impeccable comic timing and I cant recommend her stream enough.

    Character: Abdul The Taxi Mogul

    No Caption Provided

AbdulHD is a Yemeni streamer currently based in the UAE. He plays a loveable, cheery, friendly taxi mogul who offers free rides to anyone (tips are always appreciated) and gets into all kind of shenanigans. He very cleverly uses his taxi company as a way to interact and RP with as many people as possible. Abdul is a shrewd businessman and fast driver (he tends to spit on speeding tickets when the cops arent looking) and even has an in game law named after him, "Abdul's Law", which states that even if someone agrees to be injured as part of a stunt, it is still illegal to injure them. Abdul is always entertaining and always ready to show new players the ropes and to offer a helping hand.

Characters: The Roosters Rest Crew, AKA The Clean Boys

    No Caption Provided

    https://www.twitch.tv/buddha (Buddha Lang)

    https://www.twitch.tv/hasanabi (Donny)

    https://www.twitch.tv/dasmehdi (Nino Chavez)

The Clean Boys are a crew of some of the larger streamers on the server, comprised of the stalwart entrepreneur Buddha Lang, all round gangster and closeted Warhammer fan Donny, and the unflappable business mind of Nino Chavez. There also some other great characters they hang out with , but I am unfamiliar with their streams so I cant link them here. Buddha Lang and the crew opened the Rooster's Rest, one of the food establishments on the server, and have staffed it with a collection of ner do wells and crazy idiots. The most notable of their staff are Ai Musori (mentioned above) and their management and waiting team which is comprised of the silliest DND players you have ever met. They literally roll to decide what they do all the time, and are consistently in character. Donny is an all round fixer for the crew, and Nino is the main wheeler dealer. Apart from their legitimate business, they are also career criminals and take part in all kinds of nefarious activity. The crew are always a good time and getting into wild situations with the cops.

There are quite literally hundreds more streamers you can watch, and each one of them has their own story line to follow. There is no need to feel overwhelmed, as you quickly get to know who everyone is and the streamers themselves are more than happy to explain things when asked. I don't follow any of the cops, judges, the car dealerships, but there is shit going down with these different groups CONSTANTLY. It is never ending fun. If you are worried about the cop RP'ers getting problematic, don't worry, it is very much RENO 911 style. Some of the best RP'ers play the cops and judges, and I am always entertained when they pull over whoever I am watching, or they are trying to negotiate with the Clean Boyz when they hold up a bank.

There is so much more to the server than I can accurately portray. There are entire wikis and lore documents going around. My recommendation though is to just jump right in like I have and go with the flow, find some streamers you like, and keep checking in on them. The RP server has been a lifesaver for me in lockdown and has kept me entertained in a time where I am trying not to become increasingly more despondent. There is this whole world going on in this server, and its genuinely a shame not to experience some of it.

    And remember:

Dont be a fool, ride with Abdul!

@jaalmo: This I find fascinating, because I specifically don't watch the cop's streams as it really adds to the feeling of these two worlds colliding all the time. And there are so many of them! Theres all these bizarre little worlds brushing up against eachother... Im also frequently blown away by the standard of roleplaying going on. Its a professional level. Serious acting chops and the ability to improv so fluidly for a dozen hours is just mind boggling.

Edit: Also, I dont know if you have seen Johnny Silverhand around, but he is just ridiculous. Imagine keeping this up all day :

I discovered NoPixel randomly through Andy Milonakis streaming and have been watching for over a month. It's crazy how the game provides such a playground for unlimited storylines. My personal favorite is Robert Splywawywanowski (roflgator). Not sure if I'd even start watching if it wasn't for that character, rofl has pretty great comedic timing and generally is good at keeping the story running constantly rather than having downtime like other streamers. But I've found others I change between as well, but at that point it makes it too easy to spend too much time watching.

It's been funny to hear Bakalar is into this, wonder who he's been watching.
