@Riddell: I had the same problem so I joined a different world. Then I kept checking the world selection until Yak's Bend wasn't full. I think I was able to switch, though I'm not sure yet as the client is messing up.

In the interest of actually playing the game I'm just going to pick an alternative server on the assumption that I will be able to switch to Yaks Bend later. Safe?

they did say that world transfers are free for the first seven days...so im sure its fine, your names are unique across all worlds so that wont be a problem.

Got booted too. Said "incorrect password, please try again" and now I'm getting some log-in error 42 that a bunch of folks are getting. Guess they're tinkering with things on their end.

The server was acting odd for a while before i got booted. I completely lost guid chat.

yeah, i couldn't claim my hats, and the trade was lagging real bad too...

I was in the middle of choosing a personal story reward too. :(

Got up early to create characters, managed to create 2 and almost finished with the third before I was kicked. Hope we can get back on soon, still got 2 hours before I go to work. meh!

Just woke up, and I can't log in at all, not through the game client or the website.

Edit:whelp perfect time to wake up when the servers go down. I went through the diablo 3 launch. Doesn't seem like this will be as bad, but I'm hoping not.

I suspect they had to take the login server(s) down and fix them since there have been reported issues with the EU, and some of those guys play over here on the NA servers. I don't believe they'll be down all that long. I'm nearly certain its not a server load issue.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about the gameplay mechanics. Even with the amount of testing they've done, a launch for an online game like this is never going to be perfect.

I doubt that's going to be the case in early release, since the amount of people in the game are fixed, and wouldn't really exceed what happend during the BWEs

I am also unable to login, getting the router firewall error; i am also unable to login to the website either.

The Tweets from the GW account seem to have stopped as well.. All hands to the pumps me thinks.

guess this is still not as bad as swtor's early access...that was the worst gaming experience ever for me, least they opened the gates for everyone and not that decemberist bullshit swtor did.....hindsight is 20/20, go figure..lol

It was playable for the first while after it went up.

In that aspect, it's already launched better than Diablo. I probably won't get to play before I have to go to work for the rest of the day, but I'm pleased with what I saw last night. No complaints about it being down now.

my launcher is trying to patch, maybe this is a good sign?

e: keeps getting a connection error mid patch though, so maybe not....
