    A series going a little stale

    I have been an obsessive guitar hero fan since the first release. This iteration of the series has the best track list of every guitar hero to day. Online play is fun and does not lag, but for some odd reason the game seems to slowdown at times during play. The wireless controller is great. Except for the fact that it seems to have a connection problem. Maybe this is due to the new detachable neck feature, but i have found 2 guitars where buttons would randomly stop working. This is unacceptable for the hardcore guitar hero player.  Seems as if guitar hero is thinking more about new hardware than software

      This is the third installment of the Guitar Hero gaming series...It's a pretty good game, though just a bit behind II in the music range but there's enough to make up for it. If you ever played any of the other Guitar Hero games...then this is not too much of a difference other than online play but the soundtrack is still pretty good especially with exclusives like the Halo theme song that will give you both a laugh and also great feel for an addition.       I'm going to start this review, by taking you back to pre-release. Guitar Hero fans were going nuts, thought it looked awesome.Well, the day of the release it basically said BOOM and every single copy was sold. Even the ones without a guitar, gone. But, I got a hold of one since one store was smart enough to atleast buy in several without a guitar. So, I was happy with that. But, I couldn't play the game.
