I'm looking from some opinions on BK's new burger: the Angry Whopper.  It looks pretty good but I've had a burger before with fried onions and it just got soggy.  Anyone eaten this yet?

I heard a commercial on the radio, but I think I'll stick with my generic Whopper, thank you very much.

I totally like the name. What exactly makes an Angry Whopper different from a regular Whopper, other than fried onions?

"According to the food chain, its new Angry Whopper sandwich features crispy Angry onions and a spicy Angry sauce.

The company added that the Angry Whopper sandwich will be available through March 30, 2009.

John Schaufelberger, senior vice president of global product marketing and innovation at Burger King, said: "The Angry Whopper puts a hot and spicy new twist on the original Whopper sandwich taste. It promises to aggressively ignite the taste buds of our guests."

An Angry sauce?  I've never seen that in the grocery store.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am really wanting one soon.

I just ate an Angry whopper and it was absolutely amazing.  Kind of expensive because the small meal was over 7 dollars, but oh it was worth it.  You can also request adding meat, a la double angry whopper and triple angry whopper, although I only had the single.  Name is kind of misleading; its more ill-tempered than angry.

I have not eaten this yet... but it sure does look tasty!!! :D

The sauce tastes odd.... not very spicy.  It still is pretty tasty and I love any burger with crunchy onion rings on it

Had this yesterday, liked the sauce on it , but wasn't really a fan of the peppers inside it.

I had one. Twas pretty good. A little spicy. I like it over the normal Whopper because it has more of a kick, but it still wasn't my favorite spicy chain food burger.

So I went into Burger King today...and then immediately walked out.  Apparently, all the Angry Whoppers found a large supply of swords and axes.  I'll never look at kiddie playgrounds the same. 

I had one a couple days ago. It's kind of hard to judge because I wasn't all that hungry when I had it but from what I had, it was very good. It's kind of like the thing you get if you go to Burger King and you're REALLLY hungry because that son of a bitch is big. But well worth it.

Angry Whopper is a horrible name for something I am supposed to put into my body, then pass out as shit. It brings to mind vomiting, diarrhea, and the movie Alien.

If I do ever eat one I will be listening to Linkin Park and probably be wearing as much black clothing as possible. Then, while the food is still in my mouth, I am going to talk about how much I hate my mother and father for not letting me buy the latest Insane Clown Posse CD and how unfair it is that my teacher made me stay after class for 5 minutes because I wrote "fuck" on a desk.

Disappointment was my first thought when enjoying the Angry Whopper.

First of all, it wasn't as spicy as it should be, considering it had the word "ANGRY" in the title.

As for size, it filled me up, but with the exception of a few measly jalapeños, it didn't differ much from the standard Whopper.

If they were smart, they'd make it hot as Hell, and throw in some spicy sauce to compliment the jalapeños. 

I haven't tried it yet, but I really want to.

I had a Triple Angry Whopper, without the onions, and it was somewhat bland. Didn't fill the void in my life left by the Spicy Baconator.

Haven't tried it, but the Loaded Steakhouse Burger is exquisite.

Not that Angry at all. Not enough Jalapeno's and the onions (here) are soggy.

It reminds me of the spicy baconator from Wendy's. Which was probably the most disgusting looking food product I've ever seen in my life. It wasn't bad though. 

I like the sauce, and I love spicy food, so this is my current favorite at BK.

It's okay, it's edible. Not as spectacular as something you might get at a smaller chain or a local restaraunt, but it's.... pretty good.

So basically your average multinational chain burger.

So I got another Angry Whopper tonight... And well... third times the charm!

 Whoever made them tonight wins!

It was ok. Not nearly spicy enough. Not as good as the Indy Whopper from last year.

As far as I know, they are standard menu items in the UK, not a limited time promo item like in America."

The commercial is funny but I don't dig spicy burgers.

I think this whole idea is completely stupid.  Using anger to market anything is wrong but especially to kids?!

I have yet to try it but it is at the top of my list on burgers that  I would like to try.
