Pair of mini loudspeakers that are designed to hold them close to a user's ears for a more convenient listening device. Can be plugged in to music players or phones.

Trying to decide if I should buy these headphones

    Hey my Giantbomb family,

I was reading through this month's Game Informer when I came to their regular gadget section. Their editor's choice this time turns out to be the NOX Specialist, which reminded me that I was in need for a new pair of headphones. Obviously, being the editor's choice, GI seemed to enjoy the product, but looking online, the only review I found by a personally trusted source was from Engadget, and it wasn't exactly a glowing review.

Basically, I'm looking for a good deal on some over-ear headphones to mostly listen to my ipod with. I don't really have the money for audiophile-esque phones, unless there's a deal for it to be around 100 bucks. The connectivity with PC and consoles are an added bonus, since I already have some Turtle Beaches, but another pair doesn't hurt. So my question to you, my trusted peers, is, do you have any personal experience with these phones? Albeit unlikely, since I'm pretty sure they're relatively new, but if not, do you have any affinity towards any of the other sites who reviewed them? Would you vouch for them? And lastly, if you can't do that, Are there any other headphones that you personally love for your on-the-go listening(again, the games stuff is just a bonus)?

    Thanks everyone for your time!

Since you already have a pair of Turtle Beaches for gaming, I would recommending getting a pair of these. The sound quality is amazing and they very comfortable. Have been using them for about a year now.

I've always admired Sennheisers from afar, but I've been afraid of the price, so I think getting those would be a good idea. It looks like the sound quality would be better- it even describes itself as Audiophile. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm leaning more towards these than those Nox now!
