    A timeless hotseat game !

Without doubt one of the games I have spent most effective hours playing. Running around exploring an overworld map, building up your city and getting into battles was so much fun on my old PC back in the day. HoMM2 had the perfect balance compared to the other games in the series but just like the others it had this magic feel to it that really makes a true legendary game what it is. You cant really put your finger on it. I think the magic here comes from a combination of great gameplay, superb hotseat (wich I spent OH so many hours on, easily one of the best hotseat games you can find even to this day), great music, an overall great fantasy setting and deep yet accessible qualities. There was a sense of detail to everything here that really brought out the geek in anyone who sat down with it who was remotely into fantasy. Man, it just hit me, I would really like to see a remake of this on XBLA. If they do it somewhere down the road when you are reading this, remember where you heard it first !
