HIRT is a brawler that involves fighting with sheep for up to four local players. Players face each other as shepherds on small islands, which they try to win for their antagonized clans. HIRT gives players a multitude of ways to knock out their enemies which all in one way or the other use sheep. Stampedes can be summoned by dogs, sneak attacks may be launched hiding as a sheep and there are wool shooting canons as well. HIRT is built on a systemic gameplay principle, where elements and effects are combinable and weird, emergent chain reactions are able to take place. This makes the fighting unpredictable and quick. Long term strategies have to be left aside for quick and smart decisions.
