Hitman: Use Everything as a weapon!

Hitman is a 3rd person action game developed by IO Interactive and Published by Square Enix. It puts you in the shoes of Agent 47 for the Sixth time. You play through 7 contracts each with multiple objectives and many ways to achieve the objectives. Using everything from a your bare hands to a Sniper Riffle to a Samari Sword to use as a weapon it gives you many different ways to complete your task.

Hitman is was released episodic throughout 2016 and now is being released on disc as “Hitman: Season 1” and are planning multiple seasons over the next few years.

The story behind Hitman is pretty basic. It gives you some insight on 47’s first interactions with the ICA but not much more. The Rest is contracts that attempt to connect a lot but doesn’t flow well and ends up being confusing more than anything else. Now this does not matter much since the game is not meant to be very story driven. Though near the end it manages to make a bit more sense and intreging but mostly to set up for the second season.

For the most part the gameplay is very nice, depending on your strategy. The Gameplay practically forces you to be very stealthy or your gonna have to have the patience to handle dying many times. The game does not show you your health bar and there is absolutely no way to regenerate it until you go to the next level, making it very hard to have a more aggressive aproach. The stealth in the game works well for the most part. The level design is made very nicely to have multiple ways of even approaching a target. You can change into different outfits as you could in previous games. What is a step up from the last game in the series is that not everyone who has the same costume is suspicious of you and now there is some requirements to it. For example in one particular contract you can disguise yourself as a masoose only 3 or 4 guards will recognize you. But if your seen doing things like throwing objects, bumping into people, will make people more suspicious of you and will make them more likely to see through your disguise. On the other side some things make the game annoying. Such as enemies will shoot through other enemies hitting you but dealing no damage to their ally. Also in situations where you must have hand to hand combat people literally 4 rooms away can hear a punch but you can strangle a man and have another person 5 ft in front of you and they don’t hear the strangling sounds. Little things like make the game a little frustrating at points.

I played this game on the PS4 and for what graphics are usually like the console it is very good. Especially the people in the game. It runs at 1080p @30FPS on console with a option to have “Unlocked FPS” which allows “Up to 60FPS” but mostly sits at 30-45.

The only other mention-able things I can think of is that the loading screens on console are horrible. It takes about 2 minutes every time you die and longer to load a new level. It equals up to a lot of waiting for the game, where I’ve been informed on a computer that can run it on medium can load it in 20 seconds which is about accurate to what it would look like on PS4/XB1

Overall I enjoyed the game a lot, not quite hitting the level I thought Hitman: Absolution hit but being a pretty solid game. I give it a 3 star rating.

Season one of ‘Hitman’ breathes new life into a faltering franchise 0

For a long time, I would have described myself as a wayward Hitman fan. However, after finishing the first season of “Hitman” I could not be more excited for the future of the killer franchise.“Hitman” has the player globetrotting to various exotic locations including Italy, Bangkok and Japan. In these different locations, the player is tasked with taking out one or more targets and rewarded for doing it in the stealthiest of ways.My issue with previous “Hitman&rdqu...
