    Overview

I/O is a visual novel developed by Regista about the stories of several people who are effected by a mysterious lunar eclipse that sets off a series of unexpected events. The game is often considered a spiritual continuation of KID's Infinity franchise since Takumi Nakazawa, who penned and directed most of that series, wrote the title and because the story takes place in a similar universe. GN Software originally published I/O on the PlayStation 2 in 2006 and a revised edition of the game, which added new graphics, was released by Asgard on the PC in 2008. Lemnisca Translations created an unofficial translation patch for the PC version of I/O on February 22, 2014.
