Background
Media
He began working at IGN under Stephen Butts as an associate editor in 2000. He was hired fulltime there after a month of internship. He later contributed to 1UP's launch and worked on the PlayStation Channels there before being hired at
Flagship Studios.
Flagship Studios
While at Flagship, he wrote the storyline for
Hellgate: London (including dialogue, quests, etc), talked to the many fansites, worked on promotional content, handled assets, produced videos, help with PR and Marketing, and managed the official websites. He filmed the bonus DVD that came with the Collector's Edition of Hellgate: London. However, Hellgate: London never caught on, possibly because it was released unfinished, and Flagship Studios went under.
Sparkplay
After Hellgate: London's flop, he was picked up by Sparkplay Media and worked on
Earth Eternal for a short time.
Currently
Ivan left Sparkplay to work for
Cryptic Studios. He runs the PR, Marketing, and Creative Services group for Cryptic.
