Overview
The J-Cart is a special type of cartridge for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. These cartridges were developed by Codemasters and contained two extra controller ports to allow two more controllers to be plugged in. Some of the games released using the J-Cart were also released on a regular cartridge. Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament not only allowed the use of four players using the J-Cart, but could also be played in a special eight player mode. In this mode two players would share each of the four plugged in controllers. Players would use either the D-Pad or the face buttons to control their vehicle.
