Josh started his career as a reporter and a reviewer for the University of Washington's newspaper, located in Seattle, Washington. During his work as a journalist, he also worked for Microsoft and provided original content for many of the company's online video games.
He founded his own publishing company, Omega Point Productions in 1998. The company's debut novel "((FREQUENCIES))" was released in August 1999.
In March 2005, he released his first comic book story called "Everything" in Spider-Man Unlimited #8, published by Marvel Comics. The next story he worked on called "Shadows & Lights" was released by Dark Horse Comics in April 2005 in Star Wars Tales #23. This story served as a prequel to the Knights of The Old Republic videogame.
He has worked for many comic book publishers, including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, TOKYOPOP, Image Comics, Top Cow Productions and Speakeasy comics.
