    Overview

JumpStart Adventures: 4th Grade has two entries. In its first instalment, Haunted Island, the player rescues some students from the evil Ms. Grunkle. The witch, disguised as a substitute teacher, turned the students into monsters. Only by recovering the students' most valuable belongings, and using some magical incantations by the fortune teller Madame Pomreeda, could the player revert the monsters back into children. The player also needs to collect 25 keys to enter Ms. Grunkle's house to begin a showdown against her. Both items and points can be gained through playing the many educational mini-games that dot that titular Haunted Island.

In Sapphire Falls, the second JumpStart 4th Grade game, the player helps two student journalists (TJ and Sally) solve the mystery of the titular Sapphire Falls mine. A monster has made an appearance in a bid to recover the rumoured lost treasure in Sapphire Falls. Now TJ and Sally must determine whether such a monster is real, and whether the mine really had the treasure to begin with.
