Eidos was bought by Square Enix, that's why you say their logo in there. Eidos is still publishing this it's just that Square Enix owns them now (and along with that all their properties, obviously).

If there's one thing I hated about the first game was the way the vehicles felt. It seemed like it was arcadey to the extent that it seemed like it was using it's arcadism as an excuse for controlling ridiculously.
 
But it is one of the few games I have actually finished... but I tend to think It's because I had nothing else to play.   
 
I wish they'd approach it from a more realistic ridiculousness this time around (no matter how oxymoronic that sounds). You can do as much crazy shit as you want as long as it looks and feels right. For example driving should never ever get less sim/realistic than the 3D GTAs before GTA4. And the crazy wild action in Prototype felt 'plausible' in the "if this was going to happen, then this is how it would be" sense. I never got that from the first Just Cause.
 
Having said that, the sliding/inertia of the vehicles looks promising.

Man I hope this turns out to be as fun as this games look.

Seems like a great game, but it looks like it might have to much to do to have a decent control scheme.

This seems like it will be very close to playing Die Hard in video game form.

Looks good. The first one felt like everything was the same after a while, because even though you were on a different part, it all still looked the same. Looks like they brought in a lot more variety, that plus other new stuff. I will be looking forward to this game!
