    Overview

Kabuki-cho Riichi Mahjong: Tonpuusen is a riichi mahjong game developed by Studio Softmov and published by Pony Canyon for the Super Famicom in Japan on July 15, 1994.

In Kabuki-cho Riichi Mahjong, players are tasked with owning all of the mahjong parlors in Shinjuku's Kabuki-cho entertainment district using money earned by winning at mahjong (normally and in tournaments).

As noted in the game title, it features "tonpuusen" rules, which cuts the game time in half by ending the game after the east round. It also features support for the SNES Mouse and includes a bonus shoot-'em-up mini-game.
