    While they do have some similarities with the nazis, the Helghast look to me as having inspiration from every Fascist regime. Also, the USN are the ones that pushed the Helgahst into becoming what they are in the same manor as the Treaty of Versailles pushed the germans into nazism and genocide.

    Helghast. The ISA are just trying to muscle into territory they have no right to claim. Who colonized Vekta and helghan? Who suffered through the hard times to make both worlds sustainable? It was the Helgast. The ISA is just trying to steal something they did not help make.

    @Mordukai: I never actually played the first Killzone so I wasn't really aware of the history but Killzone 2 is clearly very influenced by WW2.

    I usually auto-select but I always prefer to be Helghast, ISA just seems so, well stupid really. Helghast look cooler and if you look at the website and read the 95% of the plot they seemed to have intentionally left out of the game to make it shallow the Higs are technically the good guys in a manner of speaking.

    Im all for the Helghan cause because I read about the story but I dont know if I would agree with all their methods (havent seen them all yet so not willing to play all my support behind it).
