Okay, So, I was looking at those game ranking aggregate sites, and I noticed that the 360 version beat the PS3 version by 1-3 points.

Maybe there are less PS3-specific reviews, and possibly one of two low reviews there are bringing it down. IDK, what are you looking at? Metacritic?

1-3 points isn't really a big deal. It is not a large enough gap to really have a difference in scores be an issue.

People are probably peeved that it locks up their system if they try to access the PSN store and are waiting to access the DLC cases and bonuses like I am. :p

Sometimes it boils down to how generous console specific  publications handle their reviews, for instance if the official xbox magazine gives it a 100, the official playstation magazine gives it a 90 and this trend continues the xbox version might see a better aggregate.

A PS3 centric magazine or site might have given it a 9 and a 360 centric one could give it a 9.2.  It doesn't really mean anything because they are totally unrelated publications, but it moves the average slightly.  I would bet there are also a different number of reviews for each, meaning comparing the overall average even less useful.

I'm pretty sure it's just a slight discrepancy between the amount of console specific outlets giving reviews. I just saw yesterday that Xbox360Achievements gave it a 96 and Team Xbox gave it a 93.

(Meaning the PS3 version got more bad reviews, or more "average" reviews.)

Why is this, Seeing as the PS3 version is apparently superior?

Also, It comes out in Australia tomorrow.

And I'm still torn whether to get 360/PS3

Maybe PS3-only reviewers have stricter standards? 

It's already released in Australia apparently. I have a friend playing the game already and I remember EB Games have ads on their website that said out May 19. I pre-ordered my copy and I have to wait an extra day, what load of crap. -_-

On the way to the store I saw a lot of bus ads and posters saying May 20 on them but I'm pretty sure the JB site said the 19th so we still checked it out.
