    Lasso Games, LLC is a game development studio based in Huntington, WV. The developer's mission statement is to create fun and challenging games rich in artistic themes and expression.

    Development Team

    The company is a sole proprietorship owned by Jack Daniels of Huntington, WV. Jack also serves as president of operations and lead developer. The development team consists of local and remote team members, extending from West Virginia to Alaska and all the way to Europe. Most project development is done remotely via repository, and builds are exported to the team members and beta testers for QA.

    As the business is physically located in West Virginia, the studio primarily associates itself as a West Virginian business. Much of Lasso Games' convention presence is local and regional to the Huntington tri-state area.

    Awards and Recognition

    In January 2016, Lasso Games was recognized by Taco Bell for their first Indie Game Garage project, for Levantera: Tale of The Winds.

    In July 2015, Lasso Games won reddit's gm(48) 48-hour game jam competition for Highway Rampage. Lasso placed 1st.

    In October 2015, Lasso Games placed 3rd in gm(48) for Geomancer.
