This looks like it might be a good game but releasing it on the same day as Gears 2 is just going to ensure it gets buried.  Bad move.

I'm hoping that it'll get delayed so I have time to play both

I'll get it for Xmas, as nothing is getting in the way of me buying Gears 2 on release day.

Left 4 Dead looks great aswell, hopefully it doesn't effect it's sales too much.

Do want -- Personally I think L4D will do just fine, it will probably get buried a little bit for the 360 but on the PC where there is no GoW it will hopefully do great, with lots of people for me to play with... wait that came out wrong!

it seems that all the games are trying to make the same Christmas window.

I think gears audience ( consol ) is different from the left 4 dead audince ( pc ) so it should do just fine.

That's when the gaming public spends the most money so it's natural to have a glut of games at that time, while in the summer months people don't really spend lots on games so that's why you usually get a summer drought. It's a bit of a catch-22 really, nobody spends money in the summer because there are really only a few good releases, but if developers spaced out their release window it would be a little less crowded.

I'm glad they are at least a little spread apart, since these are by far my two most anticipated games of this year.

3 solid days play of L4D then.......;)

I don't think it'll matter too much as L4D looks like it's primarily a PC game whereas Gears 2 is a 360 exclusive (for the time being).

Go to GameStop say " I'll take Gear of War 2 and Left 4 Dead" and walk out happier

I'll be buying Left 4 Dead first and Gears of War 2 sometime after when it's easier to find...

I much rather get Left 4 Dead then Gears of War 2. Just the idea of surviving a Zombie attack would be great. Plus it won't get buried since PC gamers will be buying the game.

i might just steam it and then wait to see the reviews 4 gears

I'm getting this in Christmas, not when it's released close or on the same day as Gears 2.

I'd rather this than Gears of War 2.
