no thank you to the level pack, i rather play than waste hours of my life makeing a level that only a handful of people will play and hardly anyone will heart

I don't care if it's cheap, I still think that things like these should be free. Specially since anyone can just take a pic of something "festive" and create their own christmas things.

Don't be so spoiled. Covering development costs as well as maintaining servers and generating new content isn't free, and they aren't obligated to give anything away. As far as generating good will among consumers, they've been giving out free costumes on a pretty regular basis and will probably continue in future.

Also, few of those DLC assets could be made as well with the in-game tools, if at all.

My level has been under construction for ages, I hope to get it done before Christmas, I won't be adding a Chrimbo theme to it now, I might even not bother buying the level pack, I'll leave it to others to make good levels for me to try.

I want a wrapped Sackboy.

Moderation isn't a problem, it's the griefing that is annoying. I may snag these and the new Santa Outfit this Thursday.

I would have purchased this pack if it came out sooner. I am still working on redoing my 1st level. There is no way I will have a second level up before Christmas. I'm not that good :(

If you don't want it, you're not forced to buy it.  For the price of the game, you still have free access to the servers, and free content is still added.  If you think creating new content after a game's been released, and maintaining servers is free for those who design it, you should probably enter the real world.  Fuck, it's $3, get some perspective and stop complaining.  :)

I can already tell that I will be a sucker for the new levels and materials, not so much for the costumes.
