Love Hina is the story of Keitaro Urashima, a student trying to get into Tokyo University. He comes to stay with his aunt at the Hinata Inn, only to find it has been turned into a girls dormitory. However, with nowhere else to go, he's stays and acts as manager of the Hinata House.
This harem dating sim plays like an interactive graphic novel. It's primarily text-based, with some top-down exploration. Using dialog trees, the players responses and actions will affect how each girl feels about them. Players will gain and lose hearts depending on their choices, and some options will alter which girl gains and loses hearts. Some choices can also result in Keitaro getting sent home, causing an early game over, or getting smacked and losing health.
