Best Puzzle Game of the Decade.

It's been a little over a year since the PSP came out, and now that Lumines 2 is coming out, I had to get the first.. and it was the smartest 20 bucks I've spent in a good while.

The gameplay is fairly simple, make a 2x2 square of the same color, and don't let your screen get filled up with blocks... Thats it right?

WRONG!... even though the idea on paper sounds bland, the gameplay is EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE, and will have you playing the game for hours. The main mode you'll be playing is challenge mode, which is basically you going through different skins every 4 levels before you lose. When you finally unlock every skin in that mode(good luck), also, after you unlock more skins, you can play any of them by theirselves. After that, you can do another single player mode, where you try to get as many blocks made as you can within several different time periods.. making extreme compititions between you and some of your friends.

There is also a mode in which you play against the CPU, or a friend via ad-hoc. The screen is split in half and you battle for more space, untill someone loses. This could be the best multiplayer mode ever in a puzzle game, it's very addictive once again.

The Graphics are sharp and work very effectively in the tone of each skin. Also the soundtrack for the game is amazing. When you play this game with your headphones, you'll truly be amazed on how good it sounds with it on.

Right now, you can find this game for $20, which is an amazing value for this game that could quite possibly last you forever.

If you have missed out, you should buy this game, or save up for the sequel.. Highly Recommended

Buying a PSP? This is Must-Have Game 0

Lumines (LOO-meh-ness) is an extremely difficult game to explain, but I shall try my best to convey may enthusiasm for this most innovative puzzle game.  At first glance, any gamer will begin to compare Lumines to Tetris.  It is indeed a falling block puzzle game, but that's about where the similarities end.  Coming from the mind of Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the creator of Space Channel 5 and Rez, Lumines is billed as "Puzzle Fusion."  Music plays an integral role in Lumines.  The blocks fall in s...
