Magic Ball has been renamed MagicOrbz. MagicOrbz/Magic Ball is a Breakout-style game released on PSN where instead of destroying bricks you break everything.
Creat Studios just posted up this trailer for Magic Ball on the official Sony blog. It's available today for $9.99.
It seems like it's Arkanoid, but with little bits of scenery to blow apart instead of just basic block patterns. As a fan of the occasional Breakout clone, it looks pretty exciting to me. Plus it has trophies and support for online voice chat, so it's fully featured! Count me in!
Also available on PSN this week is Konami's GTI Club+, a remake of an old arcade racing game.

I've played the magic ball games on PC. It's an interesting concept, but they get boring and samey very quickly.
EDIT: Here's a link to Magic ball 3 (the one most like the PSN game, the first 2 had more much more basic graphics) if you want to try out the concept and don't have a PS3.
