After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
I believe that is the original design for the human reaper, which is, quite frankly, a lot better. The actual mechanics of the fight were fine, although nothing really to write home about (shoot the glowing supports!), but my problem with it was just how impractical the model was for a spaceship, and how familiar it was for alien technology.
the battle itself was pretty underwhelming, but i'd forgotten all about it since my first playthrough and upon seeing it during my second i was pumped bro! it was actually pretty disturbing for a mass effect game.

Yeah! I don't remember anything about actually fighting it (but I'm replaying it right now so I'll get to relive the magic), but thinking back all that comes to mind is that it looked great and animated really well.
