This is definitely a case where I'm waiting for reviews. I don't mind paying $30 for a 2 hour game if those 2 hours are really good but we'll see.

PS4, physical, because I need more game cases for my ego (and to bring over to my good friend who is a MGS freak).

I'm pretty excited actually, the MGS games are a special experience not quite like any other.

I clicked Maybe, but I'm leaning towards No. It's not that I don't enjoy Metal Gear, there are basically two reasons why I'm leaning towards No. The first is the short length vs. the dollar amount to spend. The second is that I just know that once Metal Gear Solid V proper comes out there is going to be a version that has both games seamlessly integrated into one another, and I have a feeling that will be the experience that Kojima wants us all to play, and that'll be the one that I want to play.

I was able to find a good price on the PS4 version so I went ahead and pre-ordered. I'm cautiously optimistic about it, like I am with most games.

I've never been into MGS, though mostly because I couldn't play them when they were originally released (Talking about 1-3). But there's also the fact, that all those story bits I saw in the trailer for Phantom Pain and the things I've read/heard about MGS4, probably couldn't be any less appealing for me as they are now. I'm just not one for Japanese overly melodramatic stuff.

However, the gameplay in the PSN Store QL looked like decent fun, so...if I'm done with South Park this weekend, then maybe? I'm also waiting to get my hands on inFamous later that week and could use something to waste my time with.

Yep. Also I found it hilarious that Patrick felt the need to criticize people looking to buy Ground Zeroes by saying "have some respect for your fucking wallet". It surprised me to discover that the man who championed Gone Home at $20 was so concerned about the dollars-to-hours ratio of a game he hasn't even played yet.

Almost for sure it'll come out and I'll buy it. But for right now I'm saying I'm on the fence and I want to wait for reviews. I'll probably buy it for sure though. I really can't decide.

I paid full price for the Tanker Demo of MGS2 and never really touched Zone of the Enders and I regretted nothing. However I will wait till I have my Ps4 since I do not want to play it on the PS3 first^^

@falserelic: In case you didn't know they changed the price to $30 for the physical version, same as the digital for PS4, so if you are interested in the physical copy the price is not an issue anymore.

And i am definitely getting it next week. Even if it is a short game, MGS is one of the few series i enjoy enough that ill buy most anything they put out.

Quit with all this "2 Hour" nonsense. The main mission is indeed 2-3 hours long. There has already been confirmed to 8-10 hours of content in the game. Also, yes buying it. Can't wait!

I will want to play it sometime between now and when MGS:V comes out, but I'm in no rush. I'm sure it will have some kind of sale on the PS4 during that time.

Oh, I'm going all digital. The day I wanted to start NfS Rivals and it asked me to put the disc in? Last time that ever happend on my PS4. Albeit Sony should start selling PSN codes to retailers, as well as finally start with more dynamic pricing on the PS4's PSN storefront proper. I know Amazon has a PSN code store, but why shouldn't brick and mortar shops not get to deal in codes as well? I want to go all digital, doesn't mean that PSN gets to have a monopoly. Green Man Gaming is pretty sweet for Steam deals for example. I'd like outlets like that for my PS4 as well.

There is no category for me. I want to play it super bad but my ps3 died and I wont have a ps4 for years. But ultimately, I guess I can just marathon thru this and the phantom pain when that comes out.
