In short they loved it, 9/10. Gameplay is more akin to Half-Life 2, as immersive as BioShock and the visuals are stunning. 
 
I love me some HUD-less First-Person games, they just seem to draw you in to the game world more (Breakdown, Riddick, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, etc.). Can't wait!

Well this just surfaced on my radar. I think I'll check it out, an eastern bloc game that has appeal outside of cult-PC nerdism sounds good to me. They always have great ideas, but they're hampered by glitches and sloppy execution. Hopefully this will change that.

That's good to hear. I am really excited to see how the game will combine the shooting and the atmosphere together, judging from the trailers looks like there are going to be some intense firefights here and there.

 The games doesn't use the Source Engine, nor does it use the X-Ray Engine that Stalker uses. Metro 2033 uses the 4A Engine which was designed specifically for this game. "

This game looks so cool...err creepy! I really want to get it.
