    Michael Winans worked on the Intellivision port of Lock 'n' Chase, and later defected to console rival Atari in 1983. He was named in a $40 million lawsuit brought against Atari by Mattel in that year, alleging that he and other employees had provided Atari with Mattel trade secrets.

    Winans would also develop the Intellivision port of Pac-Man, one of the first games to be issued under the AtariSoft label.
