So I am in the midst of getting my final trophy to platinum the game which requires me to get a level 25 rune. I have all the prereq's done for it but my Warchief I need to kill has fear of Caragors and Hatred for Graug's. The area is in is littered with Caragor's but there isn't a stinking Graug near him. I can't bring a Graug to the start point since it despawns as soon as I summon him.

So are there any good areas on the first map for Graug spawns? Or am I boned into having to make another Warchief? I know of one in the NW corner but there isn't a stronghold near it and the Graug spawn isn't consistent.

Look at your map and check areas where there are bridges. I have found that they tend to be near or around bridges, but that might just be a coincidence!

Can you make him flee by running at him with a caragor, then grab him and execute him?

This is probably my ignorance here, but why are you trying to use his hatred for graugs? That just makes him tougher, doesn't it? Or does hatred boost his level and therefore his drops?

Just send a death threat to the highest lvl warchief there is and you will have a good chance of getting a lvl 25 rune. The first warchief I sent a threat to and killed dropped one. It probably isn't necessary to find a graug.

Yeah that's basically it. The key is you need to have the Uruk be level 20, be a warchief, be a revenge target, exploit his fear, and exploit his hatred.

Revenge and Fear both add +2 to the rune level and revenge adds +1. Not 100% sure if death threat affects the level other then increasing the chance of an epic rune.

@heltom92: Sending a death threat is actually a bad idea, since it will make the warchief much more likely to drop an epic. Epics don't have a level, so they don't count toward the achievement/trophy.

I noticed that Graugs seem to spawn much more frequently in the second area, I think I only saw them at night in the first area. If the Warchief still has his fear of caragors I'd go with that instead. The +1 is for fear/hate exploited, it's either or.

Yeah I'm thinking that is what I'm gonna have to do. Good to know on the fear/hate exploited though . Everything I had read said youhad to have both but if its one or the other I can more easily manage that.

Man it totally worked. Killed him using a Caragor and got my level 25 rune. Now I feel like an idiot for over thinking this.

Again really appreciate the help. Glad to be done with it and now I can prepare my body for Dragon Age.
