Overrated, but still a good game.
I am not a fan of Minecraft. Sometimes i get bored when i play it. But it is still a good game. So let's begin the review!!!
Graphics
The graphics are old school. But somehow manages to still look appealing. From first glance. It looks ugly. But that is the charm somehow. The graphics are simple, and not overwelming. That's the thing with this game.
Gameplay
There are three modes to play in Minecraft. Creative, allows players to easily create and destroy structures and mechanisms. Also let's you fly. Next is Survival, which players must collect resources, build structures, battle mobs, manage hunger, and explore the land in an effort to survive. This mode is the best mode in the game. Finally we have Adventure Mode, , in which the player cannot directly destroy most blocks to avoid spoiling adventure maps or griefing servers. Most blocks cannot be destroyed without the proper items. However, players can still craft items and interact with mobs, item frames, and paintings. Survival is the only good mode in my opinion. Creative gets boring, Adventure gets confusing for new players.
Music
This game has smooth relaxing music. I love this game's music. From the music that plays at night, Monster sounds, relaxing day music, This game has it all! Personally, the music is the best part of the game. Listen to it for yourself! Buy the soundtrack, It's fantasic.
The Problem.
The fanbase... They hype this game to god-like status and say whoever doesn't like the game as much as they do, are not creative, Graphic junkies and more. They as i like to call them "Mineiacs. It's a play on words, Mine and Mainacs.... Heh. They ruin the game for me and others.
