Overview
Minna no Soft Series: Tetris Advance, known in-game simply as Tetris Advance, is a falling-block puzzle game developed and published by Success (along with THQ) for the Game Boy Advance exclusively in Japan on November 28, 2003.
Part of Success's Minna no Soft series, Tetris Advance includes the standard game of Tetris along with a mission-based "Challenge" mode that tasks players with completing specific objectives (such as erasing lines, or clearing an entire board with a certain piece arrangement). It also includes linked Single-Pak Multiplayer support for up to four players.
Game Modes
Single-Player
- Endless Mode - Standard endless mode.
- Time Attack - Timed mode, two minute timer.
- Challenge - Stage-based mode with ten stages, each with their own unique objective (such as erasing a certain amount of lines, achieving a certain amount of Tetris clears, or clearing the entire board with a certain piece arrangement).
Multiplayer
- VS Standard - Standard versus mode.
- VS Arrange - Versus mode (endless? timed?), with players respawning after topping out.
